While late on Sunday could see snowfall during a winter storm, forecasters said an arctic blast could bring the coldest point of the 2025 winter season.

A NWS forecaster said Massachusetts will see at most two inches of snowfall from the storm this weekend. Most parts of the state, including Worcester, Boston and the South Shore, are expected to get less than an inch of snow.

Central Virginia has a very interesting weather setup coming up later this weekend and early next week, and it all has to do with an arctic front coming through later Saturday and early Sunday and a significant push of arctic air for early next week.
