The title will ship with cross-play between all platforms. The cooperative PvE third-person shooter was an unexpected hit when it first launched simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and PC in early 2024.

Over a year after a wildly successful launch on PS5 and PC, the PlayStation-published third-person shooter is making its way to Xbox.

Now, roughly six years after making its debut back in 2019, BioWare has announced plans to take the game offline for good. This means that from January 12, 2026, anybody with a copy of Anthem for PlayStation, Xbox or PC will no longer be able to play the game, even in single-player.
