Music legend Paul Simon was forced to cancel two concerts at the last minute this weekend due to “chronic and intense back pain.” The “You Can Call Me Al” singer, 83, was scheduled to perform at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29.

The the 83-year-old said he's been dealing with the issue for some time, and “today it became unmanageable and demands immediate attention.”
