The Oakland Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Friday night. Oakland police officers responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of 86th Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Responding officers located a victim who sustained a gunshot wound(s).

The teenager was discovered at about 7:30 p.m. Friday on the 1100 block of 86th Avenue, according to Oakland police. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has yet been released. No arrests have been announced,
