There is nothing like the start of NBA free agency, and last night's frenzy certainly lived up to the billing with big trades, big contracts and big statements. We'll start with the biggest surprise: The Nuggets traded Michael Porter Jr.

The Brooklyn Nets intend to keep forward Michael Porter Jr. after getting him in a trade from the Denver Nuggets, per ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Denver has reportedly agreed to trade a key piece of its 2023 championship team, Michael Porter Jr., to the Brooklyn Nets along with an unnprotected 2032 first-round pick. The Nuggets will receive forward Cameron Johnson.
