Wess Roley, who authorities say took his own life after Sunday’s shootings, is suspected of killing two battalion chiefs in Sunday's ambush.

Authorities on Monday confirmed the identity of the suspect found dead on Canfield Mountain on Sunday as 20-year-old Wess Roley, reports CNN. The suspect is believed to be the only shooter involved in the deadly ambush on firefighters in Idaho Sunday,

Roley, 20, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday after attacking firefighters responding to the blaze he set.
