The Dallas Mavericks clearly have faith in their top 2025 NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg, so much so that they plan to make him "uncomfortable" in NBA Summer League completion. During recent media availability, Mavs coach Jason Kidd talked about how he wants to mix things up for the former Duke forward during summer game play and see how he reacts.

During Cooper Flagg's introductory news conference with the Mavericks, Jason Kidd said he wants Flagg to play point guard and make him uncomfortable.

During the presser, Mavericks coach Jason Kidd previewed one way he plans to use Flagg—at point guard. Though the 6'9" Flagg has primarily played at forward throughout his life, Kidd wants to test him out by occasionally playing him at point guard.
