The Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens and UNC Wilmington Seahawks square off in the CAA Tournament. Thursday's game is the second meeting this season between the two teams.

The Blue Hens (16-20) were attempting to be the lowest seed to ever win a Division I men’s basketball conference tournament and qualify for the NCAA Tournament, and they nearly did. They were the lowest seed to make the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals in the CAA Tournament’s 43-year history.

Delaware continued its improbable run in the Coastal Athletic Association Tournament with a 82-72 win over No. 1 seed Towson in the CAA semifinals Monday. Delaware entered the conference tournament with a 15-19 record and had lost six consecutive games before becoming the first double-digit seed to advance to the CAA semifinals since 2002.
