Manchester United have rejected an initial approach from Napoli for winger Alejandro Garnacho, sources have told ESPN.

Napoli are unlikely to meet Manchester United's valuation of Alejandro Garnacho. The Italian club have had an offer of around £40million rejected for Garnacho, whose valuation was estimated at €97.4m (£82.27m) by the CIES Football Observatory last week.

Napoli have already started some work on a potential deal, and Garnacho is understood to be open to a move to the Italian club, although personal terms are yet to be agreed. The player's pace fits manager Antonio Conte 's ideal for how he wants the team to play.
