Awesome climb & view. Tried the most challenging trail. Can get tiring so be equipped with water & some snacks. Summit can get cold with the winds so bring a jacket.Full review by Adeline_J_R

Is there ANY route at all that connects the summit trails to the Western trails? Like Gwaneumsa to Eorimok; maybe Seongpanak to Donnaeko or Yeongsil. I read, from other sources, that the 1.3Km connecting trail at the top is closed now. Is there any other connecting route?

If I remember correctly, it was open at the time of my visit in May 17. Better to Google for Hallasan National Park and contact them by email.

Jeju city has plenty of hiking shops. I'm sure you'll find it there :) brands like black yak, deuter, nepa etc. Hope this helps!
