Would you recommend this zoo as an outing for a one year old? I want to take my daughter somewhere special for her birthday and she loves animals. However, some people have told me that the animals may be hard for her to see in their exhibits. My other idea was an aquarium where the fish are easier to see behind the glass. Thoughts? Ideas?

Yeah...mid-day in the heat many of the the animals will be sleeping.
