Visited this beach many times to watch the surfers. You need to be a good swimmer and its rocky near the shore line . The fantastic life guards will keep an eye on you and they know what there doing. Full review by 253DougC

As long as you're discreet, no-one normally minds if you have a beer on the beach as, say, part of a picnic. In the street and city squares etc., it's different. Officially, Spanish law forbids 'botellones', i.e. impromptu booze sessions in public spaces. The centre of the beach has a less rocky and more gravelly waterline, but it's advisable to wear slip-on neoprene beach/swimming shoes with soles.
