There is a safe, sheltered beach, frequented by families, a short walk from the harbour. You need to check tourist info for which activities are available, but there are lots to choose from.

Puerto Bahia is very nice, but because you are at the front/harbour all restaurants have good seafood menus. Haven’t had a bad meal down the old town/harbour yet.
